De Garre (iirc, this = The Ditch, but it must be a very local word, as I can't find it on Wiktionary under Flemish/Dutch)

I went in a pub in the week that had a skittles alley UPSTAIRS.

It's rare to come across pubs that still have skittle alleys at all, let alone an upstairs one.

Just trying to lighten the mood mate, bored of the infighting.

I went to a bar in Sharpness dock, we had Ham egg and chips for £4.50 and the fellow serving the food was complaining that his Stoma was leaking

If it gets hijacked it'll be because it's straight off of facebook......by rights if it's the best bar you've been to you shouldn't remember how good it was or where it was.......the company you appreciate most though should be there though .....loners & teetotallers go by the surroundings and remember the names......

Angel - Ilford , now gone.
Red Lion/Mainstreets - Ilford, if you wasn’t in by 9pm then you wasn’t getting in.- gone.
Spoon in barking is usually good for people watching.
Rick’s Cafe Jamaica, great sunset but overpriced rum punch.
Some rooftop bar in Osaka overlooking the airport was pretty memorable (the view not the name)
